We stayed for 2 nights with family members for my daughter’s wedding at Bowerchalke Barn. A perfect location for this as less than 10 minutes away. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with everything you could wish for. Excellent showers, beautifully furnished, crisp linen, great mattress and a selection of quality teas/coffee. The room was bright, light and cosy. The first person to mention is the Manager, Joe, who was very welcoming and extremely helpful, offering help when we had a problem with some wedding admin, and who organised a lovely boxed breakfast for 2 of us who had an early start on the day of the wedding. The breakfast on Sunday was outstanding, quality ingredients, and I can honestly say the best cooked breakfast I have had anywhere. Sunday lunch was also delicious and so cosy and relaxing by the fire. I would also like to mention Kirstie, who managed to accommodate our ever changing number of guests at meals in the restaurant over the weekend - much appreciated by all! Highly recommended!

Clare

Everything - food - hospitality of the staff and the pub itself. The rooms were clean, warm and super cute whilst the bed was the most comfortable. I would come back in a heartbeat! The food was particularly good and hearty - local beers and a wonderful beer garden

Laura

The friendly nature of the staff. Nothing to much trouble. Nice walks around a very pretty village. A good bar/pub attached. Very good food in the pub, if a little expensive. Very good breakfast. Included a Bloody Mary.

Cavan

Lovely gastro pub. Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Understood about food intolerance and felt very safe to eat there.. bistvthe community shop and cafe next door. Look forward to going back there soon

Sharon

The Room was designed beautifully and has all the amenities you needed. The fresh cookies and milk on arrival was a lovely touch. Special mention for the breakfast which is now officially the best we’ve had.
